Terms of Service
These terms apply when you connect a third-party account to a business software workspace through AppConnect.
Last updated: 26 September 2026.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between you, the person connecting a third-party account, and Velocity Automation Corp ("we", "us"), which operates AppConnect. By connecting an account through AppConnect you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not connect an account.
If you reached AppConnect through a workspace that somebody else administers, your use of that workspace is governed by your agreement with them. These terms cover the third-party connection itself.
2. What AppConnect is
AppConnect is an integration service. It links an account you hold with a third-party provider to a business software workspace, so that the workspace can act on that account on your behalf within the permissions you grant. The kinds of account it is built to connect are calendars, messaging and social channels, advertising accounts, and other business systems you are importing records from.
AppConnect is the connector, not the thing being connected. It is not a calendar, an inbox, a social publishing tool, an advertising platform or a CRM of its own, and it is not a place where you store data of your own. It is not sold as a standalone product and cannot be used independently of a workspace on a platform that supports it.
Which providers AppConnect can actually connect changes over time, and only some are available at any given moment. The current list, marked provider by provider, is on the service overview. Nothing in these terms is a promise that a particular provider is supported, or will be.
3. Connecting an account
- You must be the owner of the account you connect, or be authorised by its owner to connect it. Where the account belongs to an organisation rather than to you personally, you confirm you are entitled to connect it.
- You choose what the workspace may act on — which calendar, which page, which advertising account, which records to import. You are responsible for that choice.
- You grant permission at the provider, on the provider's own consent screen, and only the permissions shown there are granted. AppConnect cannot widen them afterwards without asking you again.
- You may disconnect at any time, in your workspace or in the provider's own account settings. No notice period applies and you do not need our agreement.
- You must not share your authorisation with anyone else or attempt to use it outside the workspace it was granted for.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use AppConnect to send, schedule or publicise anything unlawful, or to harass anyone;
- connect an account you are not entitled to connect, or import records you have no right to import;
- attempt to access data belonging to another user or workspace;
- probe, scan, overload or interfere with the service or the systems it runs on, or circumvent any limit or security control;
- reverse engineer, resell or reproduce the service except as the law allows regardless of contract.
5. The providers you connect
AppConnect works by calling a provider's own API with the permission you grant it. Your relationship with that provider — Google, Microsoft, Meta or any other — is governed by your agreement with them, not by us. We do not control their services and we are not responsible for their availability, their pricing, their policies, changes to their APIs or rate limits, or decisions they make about your account. If a provider withdraws, restricts or changes access, some or all of the functions that depend on it may stop working, and we may have to withdraw support for that provider.
Each provider's own terms continue to apply to the data held in your account with them. Connecting an account through AppConnect does not change those terms and does not transfer ownership of anything to us.
6. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep AppConnect working reliably, but we do not promise that it will be available without interruption or free of errors, and these terms do not include a service level agreement. Synchronisation depends on third-party systems and network conditions and is not instantaneous. We may change, add or withdraw features, and we may stop supporting a provider; where a change would remove functionality you rely on, we will give reasonable notice through the workspace or by email where we can.
You remain responsible for the accounts you connect and for what is in them. AppConnect is an aid — to scheduling, to reaching people, to moving records — and not a guarantee that a sync is complete, that a message is delivered, or that no scheduling conflict can ever occur.
7. Fees
AppConnect is not charged for separately and is not sold on its own. Any fees you pay relate to the workspace or platform through which you obtained it, under your agreement with the party that provides it.
8. Privacy
What data AppConnect accesses, how it is stored, how long it is kept, who it is shared with and how to have it deleted are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Intellectual property
AppConnect, the AppConnect name and its logo, this website and the software behind the service belong to Velocity Automation Corp. These terms give you permission to use the service as described, and nothing more. The data in the accounts you connect remains yours; we claim no ownership of it.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AppConnect is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost business opportunity, arising out of your use of AppConnect — including a missed, duplicated or incorrectly scheduled appointment, a message that was not sent or not received, or records that were imported incompletely or not at all. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
[JP: legal review — decide whether a monetary liability cap belongs here. A cap has been left out rather than invented, because AppConnect is not separately charged for and there is no obvious amount to cap it at.]
12. Suspension and termination
You may end your use of AppConnect at any time by disconnecting your account. We may suspend or end a connection if it is being used in breach of these terms, if it threatens the security or stability of the service, or if we are required to by law or by the provider whose API that connection depends on. Where circumstances allow, we will say why.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JP: confirm governing law — state jurisdiction], and any dispute will be heard by the courts of [JP: confirm venue for disputes], without limiting any right you have to bring a claim where you live if the law of your country gives you that right.
14. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version is published on this page with a new "last updated" date. If a change is material, we will give notice through the workspace or by email where we can. Continuing to use a connection after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, disconnect.
